Degree pathways provide you the opportunity to explore your interest areas without paying tuition or receiving ASU admission first. To start, you’ll select an academic track, register for courses and choose if you’d like to convert them for ASU credit. Degree pathways are flexible, designed to prepare you for whichever major you choose. You’ll finish your program ready to apply for ASU admission and on track for graduation.

The award type you're eligible for depends on your student status. If you're registered for a degree pathway, but not admitted to ASU, you can apply for the Pathways for the Future award. When you complete your pathway and are admitted to ASU, you'll be eligible for the degree-seeking scholarship. If you're already admitted to a degree program, the degree-seeking scholarship is the best fit.

Yes. The Pathways for the Future degree-seeking and certificate-seeking scholarships are stackable, meaning you can combine them with other scholarships. Utilizing all scholarship opportunities can help you minimize out-of-pocket costs for tuition, fees and more.

All pathway courses are offered online, however study locations differ for full degree programs. Please review the degree details for your major of choice on the degree pathways page for available modalities.

Please note: All certificate programs are available online with the exception of informatics, which is offered only on campus.
